Thre ribs were a little dry but the brisket was awesome. Melt in your mouth.

Food here brought me to tears it was so spicy and so delicious! I'll never forget this place. Definitely eat here if you're in the area. Highly recommended!!

The mgr refused to service me because he wants to be right. He was upset because I would not argue with him. He would not change his gloves. He touch all kinds of things and then try and cut your meet. He’s the white boy. Will never eat there again.

Wonderful BBQ! Great sauce, service and value!! I've emailed to see if maybe they deliver to Tulsa! Definitely better than anything here! Loved it!

Excellent meat and the soft serve ice cream is very good also. Sides are appropriate.

Service was great but the food was not what I expected

Came here for lunch with a colleague on a quick work trip. So fast and delicious! We had the pulled pork combo sandwich with two sides (cole slaw and mac + cheese). So yummy and affordable! We also each had a small portion of the banana pudding, which was fab, too. Glad we were able to enjoy some BBQ during our short visit.

Brisket was very tender. Texas corn was very good. Just the right amount of spicy. The banana pudding was good. Sweet and creamy. The employees were friendly and helpful.

The customer service was impeccable and the food was more than delicious! They definitely have my business!

Meat is super dry and the tables can't fit two plates across from each other. Grabbing something to microwave from the store would have been preferable.

Too expensive for what you get. Sausage tasted like hot dog meat. Ribs were dryed out

Wanted the half of slab of ribs special and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. As I pondered on something different to order, I decided.to continue to wait on the ribs. I told the food service clerk I want the rib platter. She states we ding have any. I said well the other lady said it would be a 30 minute wait. The food service clerk stated yea but it hasn't been 30 minutes. I stated that I'm just putting in the order and paying for it and will wait. She said but we don't have any. I promptly left. I can not comment on the quality of food, only the customer service.

Soulman's Is a unique.place, a little pricey but good food!

A great place to eat, get good food, and be treated by a wonderful staff. My son and I enjoy coming here for dinner.

ordered through grubhub for my patients at my job the chuck wagon got chopped beef it was more like chopped grease and mushy the beans were ok but the coleslaw was tangy and tasted real sour i will never order again should have followed my first mind and got something else not a good experience for a first timer

I smelled the bbq half way down the block. Great portions and phenomenal bbq matched by the awesome staff.

Fish Fridays, sides, need I say more? It's delicious and comfort food if you are southern.

They have good food but don't order off Doordash. We waited over 2 hours for our food. It was 68 dollars. They canceled the order and I waited for a refund. 2 months later and still waiting. Doordash says its soulmans responsibility to put it back on my card. You can't call them either to talk about it. They don't answer. I have just given up on the money but will never order from here again!!!

Tasty and quick! Cool look and feel inside. First time dining in...the free ice cream just made it 100x's better.

I've been looking for some good BBQ since I relocated to the Denton area. I went on my lunch break I I went to the restaurant in Garland and omg!!!...I had the best ribs in my life!! I so love this place and I will be back!

Been going to Soulman’s for over 35 years but at this location for l5 years or more. Food is consistently good and cooked the way bar-b-que should be cooked. Decent sized portions of great flavored food for a fair price.

First time at the Garland location on Broadway. Seriously Great! Double Barrel BBQ Potato-Loaded, small Fried Okra(appetizer on drive home), Jalapeno Creamed Corn, BBQ Beans & Banana Pudding. Hubby & I couldn't finish potato, together. Creamed Jalapeno Corn & BBQ Beans & balance of Fried Okra were sides with another meal a couple days later as was the Banana Pudding.We will certainly will be back at Garland as well as the Gross Road & I635 location.

Gotta say when coming in here I was looking for two things . Good service and good food. 1) Service . Walking in all I saw was smiles from the employees as they greeted me. The person at the block helped me picked the meats I wanted by suggesting Brisket, sausage or Ribs. .....I got all 3 of them lol. 2) Good Food. Coming from the restaurant industry myself specifically spending some good time in the barbecue restaurant I wanna tell you a brief description of what I got. Brisket- tender, smokey ring around the Brisket, tender oh yeah and Delicious ! Sausage - loved the flavor, smokey taste to it . RIBS - Fall off the bone with every bite. No barbecue sauce needed! I came for good service and I got it ! I came for good Food and it exceeded my expectations. It's been over 4 months since I've had a good barbecue plate and today I got it ! I will be coming back !

Placed a phone order for pickup. 2 - 2 meat plates with baked potatoes and a kid's meal. Food was wonderful, hot, large portions. Everything was as ordered. I was EXTREMELY GRATEFUL for the signs about how to keep the staff and other patrons safe and that ALL staff were wearing masks (as was I). I know it's uncomfortable but it made me feel like they care about their customers. We recently ditched a different bbq chain because they decided that masks did not have to be worn by their employees. And when I told them I was disappointed to see this they emailed me with a lecture and attached an article from a UK tabloid (The Sun). Thanks. I'll stick to science and yummy Soulman's.

The ribs were very tender. That's where the positive stops. The potato salad, if you can call it that, was more like cold tangy mashed potatoes. The macaroni and cheese might have tasted better if there was real cheese in it. The orange sauce had zero flavor but the macaroni was done. The green beans tasted fresh out of the can. Maybe cooking a little longer would have gotten rid of the tin can taste. Ate the ribs left the rest.

I have eaten at hundreds of BBQ restaurants over the last 60+ years and Soulman's has the best BBQ sauce I have ever eaten.

Very clean and welcoming place. They offer big meals and for affordable rates. We loved the meals very much and the staff were very amiable and chatty. I recommend this place.

Their food is always delicious. Their baked potatoes are huge w lots of toppings & they have the best banana pudding. You also get a free ice cream on a cone with dine in. The staff is supeer friendly & if you go there enough, they remember your name.

The brisket and the mac n cheese was meh but the rest of the food and sauce was great

Whereas they have amazing food I just came by it was 858 still had 2 minutes to be open I just wanted to make a order to go and the cashier locked the door. Which I feel is very unprofessional to close prior to closing time just to keep from serving a customer. I do not see myself going to this soulman's again for that reason alone. And it is a shame because I do love their food and usually they do have great service. If I can leave one last word of advice value your customers and uphold the business time

Great BBQ sauce! The ribs are what I love from Soulman's. Smoky, and fall off the bone. Their Sweet tea is pretty delicious, & the service is always on point.✌💕

Do NOT order from here through Door Dash! I paid for 1pound of hot links but only got 1/2 pound. When I try to call the restaurant, it doesn't ring and I get a message that the mailbox hasn't been set up. Now I'm out $9 because they didn't get my order right and I can't contact them to get the rest of it!!!!

two days ago was our first time we came to that place. But It is no doubt not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the high quality cooking and fine drinks and with the comfortable price. We will surely come back soon.

Pros:My family and I just ate here tonight, we had the large meal for four to six people and really enjoyed it. For are sides we had green beans, okra, pinto beans, creamy corn and french fries. We decided to stay and eat and we really enjoyed the food. It was fresh and the place was clean in the dining area. Overall I’m glad we ate here tonight and was satisfied with the rest of the food and would love to return. -Thank you Cons:The bathrooms could use a better cleaning, and the brisket was dry which was disappointing

We made a late order, and they ran out of brisket due to that they gave us two pies! Awesome customer service! That was really sincere and appreciate it. Highly recommend.

BBQ is very good - always had been.But they upgraded my drink to 32 oz - $0.50 extra. Noticed it on my receipt. I rarely finish a small drink.
